School Meals

During lunch children are supervised by our MSAs. Grace is said before a meal and we expect polite and appropriate behaviour at the table.
HOT MEALS
Hot school meals are brought daily in containers from Holly Meadows School. They are tasty, well-balanced and represent good value for money. All Class I pupils are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals. (UIFSM) Free school meals are available for families receiving various forms benefits including Universal Credit, Income Support or Income-Based Job Seekers Allowance, Income Related Employment and Support Allowance. If you require details on qualification requirements and application for free meals, please contact the school office.
PACKED LUNCHES
Children may bring a packed lunch to school. Packed lunches should be in a secure box. Please make sure drinks (which should not be fizzy) are in a secure plastic container. The children are encouraged to eat healthily in school so sweets should not be part of the meal although a chocolate covered biscuit is acceptable.
SNACKS Infant children receive free fruit daily from the school fruit and vegetable scheme. Junior children may bring fresh or dried fruit, nuts or cheese to eat at playtime.
